How Remo, Got it's Name. Remo is located In Bogy Neck, in the South Eastern section of Northumberland County, VA. According to About 1913, two fishing boat captains, Andrew A. Anderson and John Anderson started a General Store in the Remo area, The brothers put J. P. Delano in Charge of the store, which later became the Remo Post Office until 1964.
